There were so many great songs/ok videos in 81/82. We got to hear songs and see artists we would never have been exposed to on our local radio stations. It opened up whole new worlds of music.

My college roommates and I loved Adam Ant back in the day. Dressed like a pirate with eyeliner singing Goody Two Shoes and Stand and Deliver were favorites!
Madonna videos in the 80’s were like little movies. Material Girl and Papa Don’t Preach were ones I can think of. And remember she was dropped by Pepsi after her Like a Prayer video.
I loved all the early Duran Duran videos Hungry Like the Wolf, Rio and Girls on Film.
Wham Wake me Up Before you Go-Go always had us dancing in the living room.
