Syracuse U.
U. Delaware
U. Maryland - College Park
U. Massachusetts - Amherst
U. Wisconsin - Madison

Projected Major: Economics or possibly engineering or another science.

Things that are important:
-Academic strength
-Comfortable atmosphere
-law,med, and grad school placement

(I plan on going to one of those.)

As for the type of people I want to spend my 4 years with, I can make friends with anyone so it is a non-issue.

Any thoughts on which you think would be the best and why?

I was accepted into Delaware and UMASS too! I loved UMASS, but the Education program was not good there, i had to say no. I havent looked at Delaware yet but i heard it was nice. Good luck!

Syracuse without a doubt. While academically madison is way up there, it has a lot less of an intellectual feel because it is a big state school. Syracuse is very strong academically as well though.

I was really impressed with Delaware... much more so than U of MD College Park and UMASS Amherst. Delware felt like a private medium sized university. UMD and UMASS felt like big state schools. In my eyes I can get a decent education at any school and quality of life is a really important factor. I felt much more welcome at Delaware but I was NOT impressed with their dorms and even their honors dorms.

UD offers a very high quality of life and that cannot be beat.
