Though it may be a little late to be asking this question for us this year, depending on our Berklee decision (can't wait till this weekend!!!!), I am still curious.... If one plays multiple instruments (e.g. S plays guitar, bass, banjo, piano/keyboard, and buttonbox -- yes, I said buttonbox) how would one go about letting the audition/admission people know that? I'm sure many of the students on CC play more than one instrument, so how did you/they handle it? In interview only, somewhere on a supplement page? We didn't see really any specific place for it on applications, etc. and found it difficult to fit into "extracurricular activities" or similar places. But should we have put it there?
We're still going through the admissions process at Five Towns, so if there is a good way of putting in this information, we would like to do so.
Thanks!

My daughter’s many instruments were listed on her music resume. She listed the ones she has taught herself in list format and then the ones she has taken lessons for were listed under her music education section. She also mentioned some in her interviews and at a few schools contacted and performed for her secondary instrument professors.

We used the formats we found online for both her music resume and her performance repertoire. Eastman has a form at and so does about.com.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using CC

My daughter listed her other instruments on her resume, including performances on those instruments and her teachers. At some schools, she auditioned on two instruments as a performance major.

My son listed them on his music resume (just listed groups and shows with instruments played in each, by year) and also worked them into his essay. One professor was actually holding his essay at his audition, and asked questions about the other instruments, even though he didn’t audition on them, so word gets out there!

Pretty much the same here as far as listing the instruments. He did audition on two instruments at two of the schools he applied at.
