Multiple subject tests in one sitting?

So I read on CB that you can take up to three subjects tests on any given day. Has anybody ever done this before? How mentally draining is it? I'm planning on taking two, but I'm not sure if I should take them both on the same day...

Also, which subject tests are generally considered to be the easier ones? (I'm considering literature, Spanish, world history, either math I or II, or biology).

Thanks!

^Lol you kidding me? I was tired after one XD

I did math Spanish and ush in one sitting and got 700+ on all 3 you can do it

I took two in one sitting (Phys and USH). It wasn’t too bad. I worked way too slowly on the first one, realized that I was way too slow, and finished the second one in 30 minutes.

@chrome16

What do you mean? You’re only supposed to have an hour for each test, not a combined time…

^Yeah; I worked slowly on the first test, and didn’t take the whole hour on the second test.

I know a lot of people take multiple tests on the same day, and it seems like a fine option. I never took more than one on a day (I ended up taking 3 over the course of a year or so) because score choice only applies by days, so if one test goes well and one test doesn’t, you can’t choose to only send the good score to colleges. That said, it could be nicer to get more over with in one day. So there are reasons to do either, you just have to decide which makes the most sense for you.

Right. Well, ED apps are due in the middle of December and I haven’t taken any yet. Looks like I’m taking multiple tests on one day!

I did three tests (Physics, French, Math II) at the end of my sophomore year. It wasn’t too tiring; the SAT Reasoning Test was probably more exhausting than 3 Subject Tests back to back to back.

I took three after the AP exams my junior year. I took lit, chem, and ush last. By the end of lit I was doing okay and I managed to score a 700 on chem. Ush was relatively painless since it was just recalling the memorization I had done for the apush exam. I didn’t take math so I’m not sure about the mental drain for that one.

i took three… ahaha it wasn’t bad AT ALL. i took us history, math II, and critical reading. it is no worse than the regular sat, and i would say less draining too. i like the fact that after you finish a subject, you’re done with it for the rest of the day… i hate not knowing what test is coming up for the sat reasoning. plus, you get to choose which test you take in which order. i left the one i though would be easiest for me last so i wouldn’t be tired. but, you really don’t have to decide until test day because you can change, drop, and add subjects.

english lit: critical reading on steroids +poetry
us history: helps if you took apush
math II: i left 10 blank… but you can miss 6 and still get an 800 i think.

my proctor was AMAZING, gave us candy and everything… ahha :)

Took Math II, physics, U.S in that order in one sitting. Wasn’t too bad, scored 780, 710, 700 respectively.

I took Spanish, USH and Math2 all in one day the day after my APUSH exam when I went to sleep around 11pm. I wouldn’t advise you to do that. I took USH then Math2 and finally spanish. My scores were all 700s or lower. I think it wouldn’t have been too difficult if I wasn’t so mentally drained from the AP exam and such. I think taking three is fine. You get a small break in between too so if you really think you’ll do well in those three subjects I would take all three(:
