I’m an Indian student studying the IB</p>
<p>Murphy Scholar basically allows you to craft your own major and gives you considerable amounts of say in deciding what you want to study. It also includes a “research” stipend of $4k as well as specially planned seminars and classes. Yeah, I think if you got Murphy Scholar your shot at top universities is pretty good as well. Did you guys (IndianNewbie/TissueBox) apply succesfully to any Ivies/higher ranked schools?</p>
<p>Well, just got Ivy decisions back and only made it to Wharton + Waitlist for Columbia, Cornell. Accepted at UCBerkeley, Duke, Northwestern, UCLA, UCSD and Oxford tho</p>
