Hi all,

I'm a Norwegian student (junior) at UWC-USA, an international high school for 200 juniors and seniors from about 80 countries. I've started to look at colleges, and Richmond caught my eye for its good scholarships.

I want to major in music, and perhaps get a double degree in a social science. My main instrument is classical voice, and I'm getting some recognition from my teachers. I also maintain quite good grades in my IB diploma programme. I wondered whether someone could tell me more about the music environment at UR, and about faculty, performance opportunities, instruments etc. I'd also love to know if they have any conducting and composing classes, and how the interaction with the other arts programmes is.

Thank you in advance!

PS: Also, if you know about other nice liberal arts colleges with good music departments that offer scholarships, hit me up! I can't afford college in the US without it, but I'm pretty sure I won't get any financial aid because of the different economic status in Norway compared to the US.
