I was hoping to enjoy the music scene there but I hear most of them are 21+.</p>
<p>yea, most of the events i hear about are usually 21+. the venues i know of are the house of blues, casbah, metaphor cafe, and belly up tavern. there's still all age venues where you can catch shows though like the epicentre in mira mesa and che cafe at ucsd itself. i know theres more to both of those lists though.</p>

<p>The House of Blues has some all-age shows now. I just saw Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger there in Jan. :D </p>
<p>And you forgot to mention SOMA as an all-age venue.. its pretty close to UCSD. You probably don't need to research venues, cause when you get here they're be a couple of us that know the SD area and can help you out.</p>
