<p>My sister just scored internships at Fat Cat and Fanatic. (She was also offered a spot at Domino.) She's in college though, and really involved in her school's radio station. She also interns with a local record co during the school year. </p>
<p>Are you at all involved with your high school's media or local bands? If you are, send out resumes to indie labels. You're lucky you're in the NYC area; that's a huge help. Do it soon b.c. another friend of mine (who's also really involved at his college) just got placed out -- there weren't enough spots left.</p>
