Music CD ?

You didn't just say you hope ilcapo is right?!

Gasp I did!....take note....record it for posterity...

Woohoo! Yes! I was wanting the admissions to see my slides, too. All right. I'm happy now. :)

I embedded pics of my paintings all through several of my essays in case they didn't see the slides...

That was smart. :)

umm
do we send a CD version of our art work, or slides?
doesnt the form say to send a CD?

I think it said either.

dont send a CD of your art work!!!!!!

Hey,I do Classical Indian Music, though I dont have too much professional training.
Do you think I should send a CD?

yeah! classical indian music is awesome!

oh geez
no cd...
so then can i send prints?
slides arent easy to have made in this part of the world :)

slides aren't easy to have made in THIS part of the world either (NY!)

ok in your circumstances, send the CD

I suppose you can print on transparency sheets using an inkjet printer? That can be used as slides (get the size correct thouugh).

hmm thts a really interesting suggestion mercurysquad
thanx a lot
but has it ever been done?
and wat do u mean by 'size'?

I don't think the quality of the pictures would come out very well if you tried that.

Actually I read that in the manual of my Canon printer (5 years ago)... and people have been using transparencies to make presentation slides for years.

By size I mean, well, the size of the slides: make sure you print and cut em to the same size as a 'normal' projector slide, so that they fit.

And about quality, as long as you use a photo printer which supports printing on transparencies, the quality should be OK. If you don't have a photo printer, ask a friend who does!

Just a suggestion, though... I guess a little bit of google'ing may help. :-)

I found some useful info here:

Hope that helps.

Hey, does anyone have any insight to sending in Musical Theater pieces?
I sing both classical and MT, but I want to pursue MT more in college and beyond. That's actually one of the reasons Princeton interests me so much - their musical theater troupes are wonderful! It just says to submit two classical pieces, though.
My two classical pieces certainly don't go over the 15 minute time limit. What do you think?

I think you should go for it - just attach the same explanation you gave us here as to why you included something extra. I'd think that they'd actually be pleased to hear your thoughts about Pton + MT.

i would say MT since pton is really big into MT, one of the strongest programs of the ivies. what are the MT requirements at princeton?
