Someone told me they took a music class at A&M that was a history of rock guitarists called Guitar Heroes and was at the 200 level. Of course I'm looking in the catalog and can't find it. Is anyone familiar w /the class and can point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Yeah, should be MUSC 200 Topics in Music for professor Isaac Bustos.

Thanks - I hadn’t been able to find it in the catalog I downloaded. Have you taken the class?

Nope. I was looking to take it, but it was already filled up.

Lol, I took it in Spring 2008 with Bustos and it was about classical guitarists. I think the latest period it reached was the Baroque period. Maybe it changed.

jw232, did you like the class? The person I know said it was an easy A and that was about it so I’m not sure what time period it covered.

It was ok. A lot of the tests involve listening to music and analyzing it. I would agree that it’s an easy A. There were a lot of extra credit opportunities for going to concerts.
