Music Department at Dickinson

Hi all! Does anyone have any input about the music department? My D is looking for a liberal arts music major (as opposed to a conservatory or even a performance major). She goes to a performing arts HS, but her interest in music is broader and includes composing, arranging, music history, ethnomusicology, etc. She’s also looking at a possible Italian minor or double major, so any info there would be great too. Thoughts?

Have you looked Lawrence? Yes, it has a con, but I think students not in the con can take courses and play in ensembles.
