<p>Did anyone here send in a supplemental recording to be considered with your Yale app?</p>

<p>That's interesting. I had talked to a bunch of my friends applying to Yale (most of whom play musical instruments) and none of them had sent in a CD. They all seemed worried that they weren't "impressive" enough musically to warrant the submission of a recording. I sent in a clarinet recording, but now I'm a bit worried about how good it will be in the context of the other recordings that Yale will receive.</p>

<p>yeah, i've been playing piano for like 13 years and i'm definitely good, but i didn't want to risk being not good enough compared to everyone else, so i didn't send a recording.</p>
