Music program for someone who's not AMAZING...

I've been playing the cello for awhile and I'm pretty good but not amazing (or anywhere near good enough to get into the conservatory)
I'm in a couple orchestras in my town and do a lot with teaching music to younger kids and also playing at my church.
What I am wondering is if it's possible for me to continue playing cello and take lessons at the Conservatory not for a major or anything but just because I really love playing and would love to learn more and get better.
Or do you have to be majoring in music and/or be really really really amazing to take lessons?

(and this is all depending on if I could even get in!! (I'm a junior))

yes (you can audition for the orchestra, though it is very competitive; you can participate in the College's string orchestra; you can form a chamber group) and yes (you can audition for private lessons, with a faculty member or student, for credit or at very low cost). And you can attend countless performances by faculty, students, and visiting performers, for little or no cost.

seconding mamenyu - you can totally continue music in the ways you want to (i happen to be taking lessons/playing in an ensemble as a non-music major myself).
