Music supplement!!!!

Does anyone know if music supplements are sent to the music school (in this case the incredible Peabody!!) for analysis?

I would send it part of my $10 essay, but I'm worried it will be over-scrutinized even if it is just part of an essay and is used to make a point.

Thanks!

Good luck, all you jhu EDers. I know you must be very nervous in these 2(!) remaining days. Wish me luck for RD...I am really excited about jhu for IR and English.

If it's part of your application, it should probably be sent with everything else. Supplements and the application all go to the same place.

i just sent mine cd with my other forms that i mailed in, and i hope no one from peabody is gonna listen to it. lol

from what i heard, the adcoms send the supps to the respective departments (art, music, etc) to look at, and then they report back about the quality of it.

oops...i made a new post in a thread

Music supplements are not sent to Peabody, just as art, films etc. are not sent to other respective departments. All supplemental materials stay within the Admissions Office and are reviewed by the adcoms only.
