Im a current HS senior, looking for some kind of music technology/audio engineering technology program as an undergraduate. I have applied to all three NYU, Carnegie Mellon, and Belmont, and should be receiving an answer soon. My question is this: Which school has the best Music Technology program with highly successful internships in mind (which seems to be the easiest way to get a job in the recording industry upon graduation)?. Although I dont have total confirmation of acceptance, I have a 4.0 unweighted, 32 ACT composite, and taken nearly every AP class my school offers. I have been looking through each one's cirriculum and have been unable to determine one better than the rest by the websites.

Have you taken a look at the various threads in the Music Major sub-forum under the College Major forum? Someone there might have good ideas for you.

The best overview post on CC on this topic is actually here http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/787110-music-industry-program-major-minor-help.html in the parent’s forum.

There is some detail in the music major forum [Music Major - College Confidential](Music Major - College Confidential Forums) and if you use the different search parameters I suggest in the first link, you’ll find most of them.
