Hey everyone! This may already be out there, but I want a thread where we can talk about artist and songs we LOVE, and hopefully discover some new stuff from fellow CCers. ;)

I'll start:
*Jack Johnson
*Jack's Mannequin (I must have a thing for Jacks? Haha)
*Bright Eyes
*Edith Piaf (that's right)
*OneRepublic and
*Kate Nash

Yes, some of One republic and jack’s manniquin songs are great. :P

To be honest, I don’t have any favorite artists; since usually I only really like maybe one or two songs per artist. Most of the songs I used to listen to were those on the radio or ones my friend were constantly obsessing about. But now it’s been a while and I’m listening to music by Joe Hisaishi, some k-pop, and The Man That can’t be moved (script). I do love Sam tsui’s covers though.

@tofugirl: yess, his voice is just amazing. Oh, are you looking forward to their college musical movie? I personally can’t wait.
If only I could sing like that. :P

Yawn I won’t discuss my music because you probably never heard of it. I’m into obscure stuff, not that mainstream crap. Anyways, I’ll go and enjoy me some humus and Pitchfork.

Death Cab for Cutie.
Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head.
They Might Be Giants.
Bon Iver.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Belle & Sebastian.
Pink Floyd.
Arcitc Monkeys.
STRFKR.
The Beatles.
MGMT.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes.
Simon & Garfunkel.
Led Zeppelin.
The Vaselines.
Phoenix.
Neutral Milk Hotel.
Iron & Wine.
Fleet Foxes.
White Stripes.

Adele
Shannon Curtis
Airborne Toxic Event
The Civil Wars
Kings of Leon
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Glen Hansard
Lady Antebellum
Faith Hill
Lady Gaga
Carrie Underwood
Reba McEntire

…I like a really wide range of music. I’m not even naming some of the weird ones!

@toxic: Are you talking about me? I do! I love them. I just cut myself off from adding more because there are ten or so artists missing from that list that I regularly listen to.

@Hatshepsut I think toxic was talking to FranzFerdinand but you have to check them out anyway, I like that band a lot and based on your list you might too.

John Legend and Corinne Bailey Rae are all I need.
