For all the new freshman Musical Theater recruits starting in the Fall of 2016, CONGRATULATIONS! You few 40, were selected from over 900 auditions! Yes, you can tell your friends it’s harder than getting into Harvard!
You are about to embark on an amazing, challenging and life changing adventure! This program is phenomenal; on so many levels. You will be training with multiple faculty that are Broadway veterans; all acting, voice and dance classes are taught by stellar, seasoned professionals in their fields; your classmates will become your family; you will be supported by teachers and students alike; you will be living in one of the most exciting cities in the world; you will live, study and play downtown; live theater is everywhere; you will be cast in 6 to 8 amazing, Broadway level productions through your 4 years; you will graduate with so much experience and training that you are fully prepared for professional theater; your BFA from this program will be noticed at auditions; and again…the daily TRAINING you will receive in Acting, Voice and Dance is TOP NOTCH. It’s a wonderful program with multiple graduates on Broadway right now, along with graduates all over the country working at Regional Professional theaters.
