Just checking to see if anyone knows how the musical theatre programs rate at Temple, Point Park, Westchester, and Indiana University of PA

I just wonder if you know to highly regarded programs at Penn State and University of the Arts in Philly are not on your list.

Not to mention, CMU. :)

I know that Point Park is a very good school! Success rate is pretty high, they have great facilites, teachers with wonderful credentials, and a plethora of performace opportunities. A fantastic downtown Pittsburgh location is a plus as well! They accept about 50 kids a year in the Musical Theatre Program. You enter initially pursuing a BA, and you can audition to pursue the BFA starting at the end of your freshman year. :)

Temple University Musical Theatre is fabulous!

There is a thread already in existence that discusses the program.

Temple, Point Park, West Chester, Indiana University of PA, Penn State, UArts and CMU. Wow. You could limit yourself to PA and have a good diverse group of schools that could well serve an entire audition list. Add Muhlenberg, a very well regarded non-audition BA program in Allentown, and you've got a very complete package of options.
