Agree with @WWWard. They totally get that recommendations may come later - if you think they will be very late (into January), kindly remind your teacher(s) that you have applied for scholarship considertation at USC and it could be helpful if they could get them in as soon as they can. But a lot of recommendations roll into them mid December because that is when the term ends (and they are waiting for this semster’s grades to post too).
