I am a Questbridge finalist from Hawaii and I am trying to send my transcripts and scores and financial info to the colleges I ranked (Brown, pomona, columbia, amherst, usc, chicago)
I am finally able to send my documents tomorrow but they won’t make it to the east coast schools until a couple days after the 1st i think. A lot of the schools say to send the transcripts separately from the common app directly to the schools, so they probably can’t be faxed. Can the financial documents be faxed? If I am to mail all this and it doesnt get there until after November 1st, what can I do? Please help
My daughter is also a Questbridge finalist from Hawaii; we mailed off the financial documents today using priority mail (supposedly to arrive on Thursday), but the transcripts were sent today via regular mail from the school. We called the admission office at each school my daughter ranked and explained that it could take longer for the transcripts to arrive because of the distance. Each school was adding a note to our daughter’s file that the transcripts might show up late because of coming from Hawai’i.
That is very helpful. I will call the admissions offices with my parents over the next few days. Did you have to call them very early in the morning to accommodate the time zone differences? @HunanMom
We called the east coast schools in the morning (before 10 am HST); I called the western schools on her list about 1:00 in the afternoon last Friday afternoon and there was someone there in admissions to take the call.
