MWF or TTh physics

8a? which one? I want to keep having three day weekends. haha. But tth lectures are such hell. :</p>

i have mwf 3-4 right now… started out never going to friday lectures and now never go to any :(

are lectures even helpful? my friend said no.

who teaches 8a next semester?

lectures aren’t that helpful. i had mwf for 8a and tuth for 8b and like tuth more. you complete a “concept” in one day so that you don’t have to split 2 concepts over 3 lectures.

alright them imma go with tth. thanks for the input man

jbtheunknown: fajans

can I register for one of the lectures in phase II if i have a lab at the same time?

It’s webcast so the fact that I won’t go to the Th lecture won’t be a problem but will there even be space to register in phase II? (Dec. 1)

also…i’ve never looked that webcast website before, the site only give audio. Is it audio for every class?

i doubt it - they would have to manually do scheduling for you…otherwise it says you have a schedule conflict and doesnt let you sign up.

Usually it lets you sign up and then it just says “you have a class conflict”.

Physics 8 series usually fill up by end of Phase I (if they aren’t already full) so during Phase II, you’ll be waiting for people to drop.

If Fajans is teaching both, you don’t really need to go to lecture. He uses hw problems on his tests. Exact wording sometimes.

awesome tip stly hah

You can sign up for phy phase 2 - adj period. but it’s a waiting game that depends on whether you’re lucky or not (sign on to telebears at the right time, etc)

I have a short attention span, so sitting through 1.5 hours of lecture just doesn’t work for me. If you’re like me, then you should do MWF.

too late to switch now…:frowning:
I usually have a terrible attention span as well. but…oh well. haha

bumping this for an answer…

on the webcast website, there’s no video for physics 8a just audio. Why and is it going to be like that next semester as well?
