I just got my ACT reports back for the test from September please tell me what you think of them and I am considering taking the December 12 ACT

Composite: 18

English: 21

Math: 17

Science: 20

Reading: 14

retake that test…
sorry brotha, those won’t fly. like, they’re not even close…

taken from the USMMA website:
“ACT
Minimum qualifying scores for the ACT are 21 English and 24 Math*. You must also achieve a minimum composite score of 23. Each of the three minimum scores must be achieved individually in order to meet the Academy’s minimum test score requirements”

those are the MINIMUMS. not trying to be the negative nancy, but until those tests come up, hopes of KP are distant. even with that, the classes are hard enough that if you don’t have closer to a 30 in math, you’re only asking for a hard road. sorry brotha, hit those books and take it again if you mean business.

Those scores are too low to be competitive for an appointment. You may want to think about taking the SAT’s as well as retaking the ACT’s.

There is a lot of competition for appointments and you need to get those test scores up, and also maintain a high GPA and class standing.

DO NOT give up if this is your dream, study and take those tests again. You need math skills to survive at KP. Don’t set yourslf up to fail, prepare by taking practice tests.
