I'm curious about ACT scores. Say I got a 27 on the PLAN Test. 29 math 29 English 28 Science. 22 Reading( I have a hard time focusing, especially with a head ache) I've done a bunch of practice tests, and I'm scoring around 29 and 30s right now as a junior. I haven't had some of the geometry and stuff since 8th and 9th grade. Do I have a chance, with study, and reviewing old things like geometry and Algebra II, in getting a 34 or a 35?

A 7-8 point jump for one test would be kind of impractical, but I’ve seen it be done (especially if your reading score was inaccurate to your abilities). If you don’t hit it next test, I definitely think you could do it the test after with more preparation. Typically people see -3/3 point jumps from test to test.

Good luck!

7-8 point? I said like 4 -6 point…and I mean from now until the spring of my junior year, could I improve to that.

I also got a 27 on my plan. 24 english 28 math 27 reading 28 science. My goal is a 32 on the ACT and ill do whatever it takes

I think that if you study really seriously you’ll be able to get to like a 33, but 34-35 is a little impractical. I mean, personally I got a 31 on the PLAN and managed to get it up to 35 with a lot of studying, but that’s not as much of an improvement as you’re trying to get.

Still, the sky’s the limit, so do your best and you may surprise yourself!
