My admission getting RESCINDING?

I got accepted to NYU for early decision

And, I got "D" for the second quarter for some English class called (Research workshop), even though I got "A" for the first quarter.

Is there a lot of possibility that my admission get rescinded when they see my final report?

ONE "D": is that really serious???

So you have a B or C in the class?

Does your high school really report quarter grades? All that matters at my high school, and I believe most high schools, are semester grades. Colleges shouldn't even see your quarter grades...

if I were mean I would say that I can tell why you got that "D" based on your thread title...

but to be relatively nice I would just say a "D" is pretty serious. "C" might be forgivable, but a "D" is really pushing it

It's nyu it doesn't matter

mcb52: Are you talking about D for a quarter or the semester? I got 78 for the semester.

Sccrdave05: Is that true?? for what reasons??

Can they see the D on the transcript? My old school has a quarter system but only semester grades show up on my transcript.

Sccrdave05: Is that true?? for what reasons??

lollollollol

he was clearly just making fun of NYU.

If you have a C for semester, I see no reason why you should worry about your application getting rescinding. that is, assuming your other grades are fine.

Nyu has so many applicants one d won't stick out to them.
