Rescinded..

I recently was admitted through NYU through the early decision plan. However, after I received my acceptance letter, my grades have been dropping like pebbles.. no D's or F's, just a plethora of B's and possible a C or two. Is it possible they would rescind me after getting my midyear report?

**I know NYU doesn't even require sending a midyear report after getting in ED, but my school automatically sends them regardless of whether the students want us to send them or not.

Don't let people scare you. B's and C's no problem at all. You're good. Don't fail anything.

I've heard of a girl getting an F second semester and not being rescinded. Don't worry about it.

I dropped AP Spanish went from a 4.5W to like a C average senior year and received no penalties. Don't fret =D

the only person i've ever heard of being rescinded was because they were arrested, haha. i'm going through the same exact situation right now, but everyone has told me to relax because it takes a lot to be rescinded. if you are smart enough to be accepted into NYU, you are not going to suddenly become retarded during your senior year. colleges understand senioritis and the other pressures involved with senior year, and as long as you keep up your Cs and Bs you should be fine.
