My Algebra 2 teacher does not teach us anything. What do I do?

I am not kidding. She hands us a packet (10pg's) of notes on monday in the first minute of class then sits down on her lab top surfing the web the entire period monday-friday. She'll help us on a problem if we go ask her but if we go more than twice or three times she gets annoyed. She is really rude and has anger issues, she acts indignantly all the time and says she "doesn't have to teach." I sware I am not learning anything, I guess on the tests and since she curves so much I still get a B or A. I want to learn! Will I be super ultra screwed for Trig/Math Analysis? Everyone else in the class except for a few people could care less, they are happy it is an easy A, but I'm not, I really want to understand Algebra 2.

Here are some people on youtube that teach the material:

[khanacademy - YouTube](Khan Academy - YouTube)

You can also search the topic you need into the youtube search box and find videos from other people if you need more examples.

These channels have more advanced material for the future:
[TheIntegralCALC - YouTube](Krista King - YouTube)
[DrChrisTisdell - YouTube](Dr Chris Tisdell - YouTube)
[MathDoctorBob - YouTube](MathDoctorBob - YouTube)

You can also read your math textbook - knowing how to read textbooks is a valuable skill that is important in college. There are also supplement books such as the “for dummies” series.

With all of these resources, I find that there is little need for a teacher (except if you’re stuck on a problem and you need someone for help).

Thanks aldfig0 so much, I had never thought about the dummies book. Really appreciate it =)!

Besides learning about it on your own, have you tried talking to your counselor or principal? Or even going to like the district superiors? If that is true, that is unacceptable. You should really try and do something about it.

@halemack: I have not, thanks for the idea! While I am not sure they would do anything it is worth a shot. I really feel like my educations is going to waste with her =^(. Will do halemcck. Thanks
