<p>Minor issue. Really just confused. Applied 12/31, got my email today inviting me to the portal. Reset password, logged in, was exploring the site and making sure my details were accy when I went to the My Profile tab, then Personal & Family.</p>
<p>I had to upload a separate document onto my Amherst supp because I have 5 alumni family members. They’re all listed here on that portal Family page, along with my non-alumni siblings and non-alumni cousins. There are 15 family members in all.</p>
<p>Is that ok? Why might they have all of those names (it’s like suffixes like III and Jr. that I don’t even know, nonetheless put on my application)? I’m guessing it’s from some database left from when my brother went there. Should I call to make sure it’s normal? It looks like the My Amherst thing is the same site they use for students, staff, etc., I don’t want there to be a mix up. I might call later in the month if it’s really bugging me. Someone tell me what I need to hear…maybe I’m over thinking it.</p>
