My AP Physics Teacher HATES Me! (What do I do?)

Ok, maybe HATE is a strong word, more like she really dislikes me. I've always been on good terms with my teachers. Participated in class, turned HW in regularly, etc. But AP Physics has been a problem for me this year. To be blunt, I have a D in class right know. I swear the class feels impossible for me. I've tried my hardest to do as well as I can and its just not paying off. I think my teacher believes I'm just incompetent and just not trying, but I truly am. I just want to be on good terms with her because I hate for her to think I'm just being entirely lazy, I'm just not very science oriented. I should have just taken Honors, I don't know why I try so hard to challenge myself when the results are only decent at best. So anyone have any suggestions on how to be on her good side.

Enslave her.

To be blunt, deal with it and give it your all.

Go talk to her after class. Teachers really like that. And presents work also. Heres an idea. Take a piece of paper and crumple it up and throw in on the floor where she will see it when she gets in the class room. Then when she comes in get up and pick it up and put it in the trash. That makes you look like a better person. Teachers notice those little things sometimes. I got other tricks, but im not telling all of them.

Maybe you just suck.

ololololololololool

But seriously, I wouldn’t attack the problem like that. Physics isn’t as subjective as a subject like, say, English (At least in my class it isn’t). Use the YouTubes. KhanAcademy is an awesome resource for understanding the supposedly un-understandable (Hee hee). Read the book and really try to grab the concept of the problem after you solve it. Don’t just use an equation. I’m thinking that if you understand the basis of one problem, you won’t have to worry about the others. So spend time with each type of problem. At least, that’s what I believe might help. Also, don’t strive for the affection of your teacher. Strive for the affection and love of your own soul, bro. Love yourself. Believe in yourself, man.

Wow. I must be some type of super hippie. Now if you excuse me, I’m off to smoke some more weed.

Open a can of man up and live with it

Thanks everyone for the advice. I’ll be sure to use it.
