My ASU acceptance letter, what does it mean?

Here is my acceptance letter:

I am aware that yes, I got accepted to ASU. However, I have heard of people getting "in" to the WP Carey business school, but then having to formally apply to their major after their 2nd year. I have also heard of people getting in as a freshman. Which situation does this look like to you? I'm kind of confused. If you need more info let me know. Thanks!

The letter congratulates you on your admission to the university, to the school of business, and to the Computer Science Information Systems major.

Yea I know I got accepted. But I've just heard so many people talking about how "You go for 2 years, then you apply 'formally' to the business program". Am I one of the lucky ones that got in right away? It's just that... my grades are sub-par :/ so it's kind of hard to believe.

No I don't think that's true...you've been accepted to your major so you don't have to apply to it again...that's the impression I to from my ASU letter

Ask ASU if you have further questions about what your admission letter means. Don't rely on the answers of well meaning, but possibly misinformed strangers on this board.
