<p>my boyfriend has slept in my twin xl bed (or i’ve slept in his) every night for the past year and a half. we’re both fit; he’s 6" and i’m 5’8". it’s a little uncomfortable at time and i can’t wait till we have a larger bed, but honestly, unless the op and her boyfriend are both larger than average, i can’t see what the huge problem is.<br>
whether she’s uncomfortable with the <em>idea</em> of him sleeping there every weekend is a different story. but honestly, two normal-sized people can lie on their backs in a twin. it’s not like it’s hideously uncomfortable if you really want to do it.</p>

<p>OP: You’re right that twin bed is small, but it is manageable. Push your bed against the wall and have the guy lay against the wall with one arm by side and other wrapped around the girl.</p>
