UNC-Chapel Hill
Duke
Cornell
Princeton
Wake Forest
Johns Hopkins
NC State

I do not know exactly what I am going to major in; Engineering is a possibility.

Nothing stands out unless you're an excellent soccer player. Instead of going to BU this summer I would play for a semi-pro development league if you're good enough. Everyone else is mediocre and you need to bring your SAT up above 2250+ to be competitive with other asians / indians at those schools. :( sorry to say it but the bar is higher for yellows and browns.

Is mediocre not good? :(
I forgot to put Junior Marshall, for the top 5% of our class.

I think my unweighted will go up because of this semester; I think I can get all A's. That would give me a 3.875 unweighted and a 5.375 weighted for the year.

Bring your grades up, they're the most important part. Maybe bring up SAT I's as well. It really would have been nice if you were a semi-finalist, or did better on PSAT's, but there's still hope. Do well on SAT II's (you need to make an 800, or close, on the Math IIC) and AP tests. Your EC's look pretty good, especially the commitment to soccer and summer activities. Overall, I'd say your chances are average to good at all of them except for Princeton, which is a reach. It's very hard to get into Princeton; you need more than just "the numbers." Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure what that thing you need is.

Yes, that helps (though how much, I can't say). It would help even more if you were to improve that your first semester of senior year (or at least retain it).

Engineering programs are generally more competitive, at least in terms of test scores. However, if you have a high math score & lower reading/writing score you will fair better in the engineering admissions process.

ps if you want to do engineering, why princeton?

Princeton because I am not sure what I want to do, and I hear that Princeton is good about letting their students experience many fields of study before actually declaring it. It just seems like a good place to grow; a good place to learn.

What is the internship? If it's in an area you're interested in and competititive to get, it would certainly be better than an average job.

Your list is aiming VERY high. A 2200 plus will probably be average at the ivies with the new SAT, probably higher at Princeton. Duke is also a lottery school.

You need more match and safe schools unless you love NC State.

I still can't imagine how you can have a 3.6 GPAuw and still get a 4.5w. At my school, the only to get a 4.5w GPA is by taking every single AP course and not getting a single B
