You are either in or not in, getting a chance on this tread will not help your chances, I wish people would realize that. if you need to get chanced on you ability to get into your school of choice, it makes you seem like you lack confidence in your own application and require others to boost your self-esteem. Your chances are as good as everyone else’s chances. There, now just need to excel in all your classes and you should be fine.

I’d agree with you. The main reason I need to be told I have a chance is because I lack confidence due to my ACT score. My parents have shown disappointment and I am unsatisfied. I’ll be taking the ACT a 5th time so hopefully something changes.

From the kids that I know that have gotten into BU, you should get in, although the ACT looks like it could be raised. Did you take the SAT? I actually find that easier because of the time limits.

I’m taking it in October. I feel I’ll have a better chance at Doug better since I am more of a communication arts type person as opposed to a math lover. It’s good to hear I’ll be given more time because most of the time that’s what kills me during the ACT

Retake your ACT and you look like a good candidate! But even if you don’t get your scores up, just write some amazing essays! Good luck =)

I think people are being too harsh on your ACT. BU’s range is 25-30 according to 2010 Princeton Review. I think you’re in. =) Chance me back?

Thanks haha. And sure post the URL

Why are you bumping this so much? Get a good SAT and write a good essay and you have a decent shot.

Trust me you in, with the GPA and ECs, your 27 won’t matter but it would hurt if you raise it a little.
