I know it's a bit early- i am currently a sophomore in high school- but I would just like to know my chances of getting into U of M when i apply early decision my senior year. I am in state, and i have a sibling currently enrolled at U of M. Right now my gpa is a 3.9 unweighted and it might go down to like a 3.84 because i am taking 5 AP classes next year (i am assuming worst case scenario, maybe i get all A's :D). I will have taken 13 APs and IBs total by the end of high school. My ACT score this year was a 34 (Not going to take SAT because i am in state but if I should let me know please). My extracurriculars are an officer position at French club, (i have one now, i might become president my senior year, but again we never know so i might just remain in the position i am now- which is secretary). I will have 200 hours of volunteering at my local library, a summer internship, and I am a part of the varsity debate team. I live 45 minutes away from U of M, and literally everyone from my school applies to that school, and I know many people with 4.0s, (UW), so competition is very high at my school. Please chance me! Thank you in advance.

UMI: Low match/Match

If you’re talking about Minnesota, then you’re 10000000% in. If you mean Michigan, then you’re 10000% in. You’re a boss… Embrace it and have fun you’re senior year.

Really curious to know which U of M you are referring to, but you should have no problem.

Just saw your tag. Will you attend Michigan if you are accepted? Lucky you. Do apply EA though. It gives you a much better chance.

Should be able to get it

dont worry, especially if you live within minnesota or wisconsin, they will love you!
