Hey y'all! I am very interested in Vanderbilt University and am in the application process as we type. I love with Vandy, but would like to know a rough estimate of where I stand in terms of getting in. After all, it is a very tough school to get into! So here we go:

White, female, California. applying to college of engineering

I have a 4.2 GPA, but I am #1 ranked in my class of about 170. I have only completed 1 AP course, but it is because my school only offers 1 to non-seniors. i was 1 of 2 people to pass the AP Exam that year, as a sophomore.

I am taking 3 APs this year, which will make for 4 total, out of 6 offered at my school. My school is not a very academically challenging school (It is the only school in my town-which is tiny). Will that hurt me in the application process?

I have taken every advanced or honors class available at my school. Also, I have never gotten a B in a class before. only A's.

SAT: 2090 (CR 640, Math 740, W 710)-should I submit these? My CR is not up to par.
ACT: 33, but will take again
I am taking SAT II Math 2 and hope to score at least 700, as math is my best subject.

Clubs and Extraciriculars:
ASB Treasurer
Freshman and Sophomore class secretary
Photo Editor, Journalism
4-year member of FLC and FCA and CSF

Community service:
leader at my church VBS, 3 summers
work at church preschool on Sundays for 4 years
Football water-girl/medical help, 2 years
other various services, but the first 2 are my biggest

Extras:
I participated in a foreign exchange program this past summer, where I hosted a Spanish girl for 3 weeks then I lived with her in Spain for 3 weeks.

I attended a nationwide church conference last summer, called CHIC

The summer after freshman year I attended a 3 week program at Yale University called SIG (summer Institute for the Gifted) where we lived on campus and went to class. (not affiliated with Yale University)

I have been dancing for 12 years
Play Club volleyball for 3 years, school volleyball for 3 years
played soccer for 3 years, sophomore year MVP and starter every game
scholar athlete, 2 years

That's all I can think of. I have been told I am a pretty good writer, so my essays should be pretty good too. Do you think I have a chance of getting in? or should I look for other schools to be my top choice?
