im an international student applying to Boston college EA, Case Western EA, Wake Forest RD, U of Rochester RD, NYU RD, Colgate RD and other schools
These are my stats
SAT 1340/1600 1850/2400 (writing was bad) CR 540 Math 800 WR 510
SAT II Bio M 770 US history 600 Korean 790 Math II 780 (i took this one in nov, so they wont count this one for EA)
Toefl ibt 101
GPA 3.75/4 uw (not sure)
Rank 20%
AP Bio 5 US 4 (taking AP Cal AB, BC and AP Psych this year)
Boston College Experience (summer school program at BC)
took Anatomy & Physiology I & II
i got A- for 1st semeter and A for 2ne semester</p>

<p>Teachers Rec. 2 assuming good ones and 1 from the professor who taught me at BC over the summer
Counselor Rec.: i had a good relationship with my Counselor. assuming a good one
EC Var. Swimming 3years
Volunteer at 4 different places for quite long time.
Var Track 1 year
Work experience: i had a job for 2 years
Essay: Personally think good. my english teacher really liked it. also, i wrote it very differently. my topic was Perseverance and related AP Cal test to my life
Race: Asian
Sex: Male
School: a hard public in Buffalo, Ny

i do these chances based on my friends who were accepted/rejected,</p>

<p>With your SAT scores, I think all are good!
If I had to pick a reach school for you, it would be NYU. My friend with a 2130 and 4.5 GPA was rejected. But then my other friend with a 2320 and was accepted, so everything should be fine.

do colleges count SAT Writing section?
i heard they usually do not count and use college essay instead.
im afraid my writing score may affect me</p>
