i mean, i know my grades aren’t super, and im retaking my test scores. Our school doesn’t do GPAs, but i know because i slacked off earlier in my school years, its gonna be hard to get into brown. I’m hoping that they’ll notice the improving upward trend n my grades and give me a chance? I’ve also been actively working hard in my extracurriculars to make up for my weak grades. I actually love brown the most amongst all the ivies, and am considering ED. but im afraid of the binding, even though i absolutely love it there. Lol, commitment issues despite my affection!

Comments please? and support your opinions with a well-thought out reason? Thanks so much guys and sorry it was so long!

anyone reply please?

No one knows. No one here is a Brown admissions counselor. Anyone telling you anything is doing so out of essentially baseless conjecture. The above forum is filled with people who would love to do that for you, but none of what they have to say has any more meaning than any other pretentious kid on this forum or any other anonymous internet forum.

reject at brown and all other ivies. Your stats are way too low for the typical ivy league asian male. Try some less selective non ivy league schools. i.e Johns Hopkins, NYU, Boston College.

though its a bit depressing, thanks for your honesty youllsee. I am also applying to RISD, Carnegie Mellon, Wesleyan, and other schools as well

carnegie mellon and wesleyan are good matches for someone with your stats.

an upward trend with grades is a good thing. keep up the strong work and i think you have a shot at brown

You absolutely MUST know? Well, no one can really tell! You will only know next March...

Zero, even maybe negative...

This opinion is as authoritative as anything else you will read here.
