What do I need to improve on?
Thank you for your help!

34 ACT
2140 SAT
690 SAT biology (will retake)

JH/Cornell - High match
Boston - match
(Assuming you will have at least 2 SAT subjects with an average of 750+. For Cornell the first two components of your SAT are important not the WR. A renowned HS is a big advantage for you)

BU Is definitely a match for you I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. I’d say JHU and Cornell are low reaches just because they’re so selective but you are a competitive applicant for both and it wouldn’t surprise me if you got into one or both. Best of luck to you!

Agreed with the above, but I think even “low reach” is too optimistic for pretty much anyone at Cornell and JHU. Even with a strong application like yours, the chances aren’t too great.

Also, the ACT is a bit better than your SAT score.

I’d stick with reporting your ACT score, because it’s phenomenal. You have the credentials for JHU, and it’s a high match. Like the above poster said though, calling any one a high match at Cornell is a risk. I would consider Boston U a match as well. You’ll do well wherever you go, I’m sure. Best of luck!
