MY chances at JHU ED, UChicago EA, NYU and UCs RD?? VERY stressed and panicked!!

GPA: 3.67 uw, 4.33 w for 9-12, 4.44 w for 10-12

Rank: 37 out of 599, but by end of senior year I expect to be top 30

SAT: Took October test and expecting at least 2100 (I took an intense SAT class where my friends took it, and they all scored 100-200 points higher on the real SAT than the test given at the prep facility. I score a consistent 2100-2200 there, so yeah). From what I've garnered from the SAT discussion boards, a lot of my answers were right so I'm keeping fingers crossed for 2300+.

SAT IIs:
Chemistry - 650 (took as a sophomore without studying, but I guess if I brush up I can pull off 700+ by December test date)
Math 2 - 770 (again without studying. I know it's not a terrible score, but I know I can pull off 800 if take a few practice tests so the question is should I?)

ECs:
Model United Nations (4 years)
Key Club (4 years, 100+ hours of community service for last 3 years)
Peer Assistance Leadership (3 years + president this year; organized trips to local middle school where group members performed a 30 minute skit warning them to avoid drugs & alcohol in high school)
Thieu Nhi (religious group/club; in it since I was 8 so 9 years; cantor and altar-server; 200+ hours of community service last 3 years, probably over 500 hours if started from 3rd grade)

Awards: National Merit Commended Scholar, AP Scholar, Tower Award (Most prestigious award given at my school. One winner per subject area like math and not branches of math like algebra, stats, etc), and tons of awards from MUN

I know my stats aren't the best, but JHU is still a possibility right? I mean, I'm an "average" student at best when compared to the super students seen here on CC, but in general I don't think I'm THAT bad? Also applying to the UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, NYU, and UChicago. I live in CA if that would help my UC admissions. I LOVE UChicago and if accepted I'd go in a heartbeat, but should I even bother? I was thinking JHU would be a more viable place for me to apply early, and it's my second choice after UChicago.

Even though I'm applying to the UC, I KNOW I won't be happy if I stay in California for college. I have my heart set on JHU and UChicago, but reading about all you 2400 SAT/4.0 UW GPA kids panicking over whether or not YOU would be accepted keeps making me feel more and more disheartened to a point where I don't even think I'm qualified to even PAY them to read my application. Please, PLEASE give me some feedback. Don't worry about my safeties, I have those covered (Tulane, UCSB, UCI).

I think that you should definitely try to get in to your dream school. It’s definitely worth a shot:) I believe you have decent chances at most of those schools. I’d say you would get into most of those UCs. Make sure to write good essays for UChigago though. Best of luck!
