Hi all. I’m currently finishing up my common app and was hoping to get some feedback on my chances at my chances at my schools.
As of now I am applying to (Reach-Safety):
Northwestern (ED)
UPenn (RD)
Cornell (RD)
Colgate (RD)
Case Western (EA)
Northeastern (EA)
OSU
RPI (RD, Legacy)
Miami of OH (RD)
University of Cincinnati
GPA:
3.45/4 (UW)
3.98/5.33 (W)
I have a reason why my GPA is so mediocre though. In 10th grade I was battling a chronic and crippling disease, and as a result I did very poorly in my classes. I’ve since recovered.
My GPA for other years is about a 4.4/5.33
SAT:
Taken in March, received 1440 (Math: 730, Reading: 710)
Plan to take again in October, am hoping for at least 1500
AP:
11
Euro (12th), Spanish (12th), Stat (12th), Physics I (12th), Calc (11th, 5), Econ (11th, 5), Gov (11th, 5) , English (11th, 5), Psych (11th, 5), Comp Sci (10th, 3), USH (11th, 3)
Here you can again see my improvement/recovery
All other classes have been honors
Extracurriculars:
Mock Trial (4 years, Team captain)
Speech and Debate (4 years, Vice President)
Feminist Club (2 years)
Robotics (4 years, Lead Electrician)
Essay is straight fire and my recs will be pretty good (but not insanely good).
My major is Neuroscience though I may double in Neuroscience/Economics. Any school that doesn’t have Neuroscience I choose Biology.
