any leadership or awards? you don't mention any

how good are you athletically? if you can be recruited, then it's a very good shot. otherwise, meh

weak test scores

if you go to princeton hs, you can probably give yourself half a bonus point

you don't really have that a "hook" unless you are good enough at track to get recruited, no leadership positions in any clubs, no special honors/awards listed. you have to realize the competition in the pool of kids applying to princeton...

Some schools give you a GPA thats literally your grade average, instead of a 1-4 scale. I like the idea. Better portrayal of grades, and distinction between someone getting 100's all over the place and someone getting 89.5's.

um- i would just like too say that i know people who have gotten into princeton with much lower stats in general- its all a crap shoot. apply. you have nothing to loose. except the application fee which is worth it i would say.

^ actually being from NJ doesn't affect your chances at all. Its not a state school so it wouldn't prefer Jersey applicants and they won't specifically discriminate againist NJ applicants. So residency shouldn't really matter....

New Jersey typically has huge numbers of highly qualified applicants to Princeton, that's why it's considered a disadvantage (compared to same stats from a Wyoming applicant, for example.)
