Hi, I am a sophomore from Michigan and I am wondering what my chances are in being admitted into RSI(Research Science Institute) for summer camp.

Here are my stats thus far:

PSAT: 204 (M:76)
Classes: AP Calculus and AP Chemistry currently, took Biology and Chemistry freshamn year
Awards: distinction in various math competitions, etc.(Math Olympiad)

with RSI, the trend I have generally seen is that you need a 225+ on the PSAT to make it.By distinction in the math olympiads, it will have to be big distinction. For example top 24 USAMO. or MOSP. Sry but I think you need more. Do you do research?

Not true at all. And it's impossible to predict anyone's chances. But your strong math score and clear interest/advanced standing in science and math means that you should at least apply and see what happens. And since you're a sophomore, you really shouldn't worry about it for another year or so.

NVM he beat me too it :)
