I am in my first semester of college and have applied to these schools for next fall. Do I have a chance at any? At Purdue i also applied for this spring but they deferred because they wanted to see that I was doing well in college. I decided to wait until fall 2016. These schools
Purdue
Msu
Indiana
Minnesota twin cities
Nebraska Lincoln
Iowa
Illinois
Rutgers
I think you should check out the acceptance rates for each of these schools. Purdue has a pretty high acceptance rate of 59.2%. With a 3.04 gpa, you probably have a chance at getting in. Best you can do right now is raise the grades as much as possible. Same goes for MSU, with a 66 percent acceptance. Its pretty high, so I think you have a shot.
I’m not sure that helps me as far as transferring goes. What do you think?
I think you have a shot at all of them, actually. What is your current GPA for first sem?
3.04. That’s my college gpa
It may depend on what college. A 3.04 at MIT is different from a 3.04 at community college.
I go to a decent university in Michigan
