It's these kind of applicants that scare me, being the above average student I am. You stand a good chance at any of those schools i'm sure. Those SAT and AP scores are off the charts. i wish I were good at test taking...

Sorry then. I didn't look up all his threads which I believe someone said they are all identical. Also I think your high school is going to hurt you. I mean what type of kid can get a 100 in each class. Thats a joke of a high school and the fact that you couldn't suceed in it freshman year is even worse. Your SAT's are amazin. You ec's on the other hand are scattered and show no interest. It looks like you did everything just so you can put it on your app.

"yea I'm good in standerdized test but im very bad with gpas and classwork and stuff"

You say you've had 100% in all classes after freshman year. How does that support the above? (And I know it's just a message board, but from my experience, people with 2350 SATs would never misspell "standardized"). Anyway, wouldn't that GPA hurt you? 100% in all classes just suggests that your schedule is WAY too easy.

and that your school is a joke. I mean a 100? Come on. During my entire time of high school i've goteen 2 100's one in health and one in english. I usually have to fight just for an 93. Thats a real school.

hear, hear, collegehopeful78. I have to study for hours just to get an A- in some classes...that aren't even AP courses! How ridiculous it is to get 100s in everything...

are u kidding me, my school is one of the best in new york but aside from that the program i'm in is very tough, i worked my butt off for those grades after freshman year, and the reason they're 100's+ is because most of them are AP, in Ap courses in new york you get .10 extra so if you get a 90 its technically a 99 ...for most AP's i have around 95s...so thats 104.5...thats how i get the 100s

What school? Unless its one of the specialized, townsed or hunter I doubt its one of the best schools in NY. A 94 weighted is really crappy you know. I haven't taken too many a.p's but I have about a 93 unweighted.

Sounds like you might be in the better part of the applicant pool...
though, cut it down on the ECs to the ones you're most passionate about. It certainly says you're involved to have that many, but.. it might be somewhat difficult to believe you're devoted to all of them.

How many A.P's have you taken so far? Coming from Brooklyn Tech is going to hurt you since that school is really grade inflated (according to my friends) and there are so many people with higher averages. I don't know. Our school has had people with 91's get into princeton. This year we had a girl with a 90 get into harvard.
Btw Brooklyn tech is not a public elite anymore. Just saying.
