My Chances at UW, CU, UC schools

I’m a Junior in Southern California going to a public school (ranks #5 best in academics in California), white male, income >110k. Both parents graduated University, dad from Long Beach and mom transferred from CU to UW and graduated UW.

Scores

GPA: 3.41
8 AP classes, heavy rigor (I’m aware I have a weak GPA, I had under a 3.0 sophomore year because I transferred to a really rigorous school and it came as a shock to me, but junior year I have a 4.25 weighted)

SAT: 1300

ECs: Mission trips through Church, Varsity Swimmer, started Investment Club at school, I volunteer at my Church, I’ve started a social media marketing company valued over $200,000 (worked with companies such as McDonalds, Universal Studios, and Disney).

Senior Year Courseload: AP Statistics, AP Literature, AP Government/Economy, and several electives.

I want to apply to colleges such as University of Washington, Colorado University, or any UCs (not including Riverside/Merced)

Thanks in advance!

For UCs, what is your UC weighted and capped GPA?

In addition, what is your intended college major?

3.41, I’m not sure what I want to do for my major yet, I’m thinking about Mechanical Engineering right now.

Based on previous admit rates by GPA, most UCs are reaches or extreme reaches with a UC weighted-capped GPA of 3.41 (and engineering majors are often more difficult to get into). UCR and UCM may be more realistic chances.
