my chances.............duh!

Ok!! i am an international student. i don't play ping pong, i do sleep at night, i don;t flinch or shake nervously when exposed to sunlight. STereotype out!!!

I am doing the ib diploma with the following subjects

Math HL
Phy HL
Chem HL(owned!!!!)

Econ SL
Eng SL
Spanish SL (got really challenging this year (second). had to devote quite a lot of time for this one)

I usually get 35-38 on exams and overall grades (you know homework+test(only 40%)+lab work). In the order (6(always manage to somehow miss that elusive 7),7,7 / 7,4-5,5-6). 4000 word research paper for the diploma(physics).

SAT - 800 M 650CR 650W (just retook)

SAT 2 - 740 Math 2, 760 Phy (we had only covered two chapters when i took dis one...........) definite retake.

EC's:
I just love badminton and tennis. From grade 5 - 12 badminton all the way. Used to play almost every day (weekdays) and later weekends. Tennis, started in grade 11.
Habitat for humanity
Riding for the disabled
Econs and business magazine contributer
Radio control club

(i forgot the rest but all the above excluding tennis amount to around 200 hours)

Football, star defender for my class team until i changed school.............

I have not been provided with many oppurtunities in my country ESPECIALLY research because those are reserved for my country's citizens and permanant residents. (which i am not) no RSI.........

Excellent recs, one from the chemistry teacher in whose class i have maintained a 7 throughout. A math teacher who has seen me mature in the subject. Counsellor loves me and thinks very highly of me, another excellent rec der.

Gracias por tu tiempo( no, REALLY!!)
( oh yeah-----for CIT ECE)

come on guys chance me :(. or is the length of my post a bit intimidating

plz....... chance

Wait. let me get this straight. You play badminton and tennis, but NOT ping pong? what the hell man?

Your reading/writing are low. International students have different admission standards, so I can't say much.

Which nation?

That is the biggest contributor to your application right now. If you're from a Spanish speaking country (which is what I've gathered), that raises your chances quite significantly.

Reading and writing scores are quite low, but as it has been said, that is a given for international students. Your math scores are excellent. I'd suggest retaking math II rather than physics.

I don't know anything about IB (I haven't even heard of IB until a month ago), so I can't help you there.

i can make up those "low" scores using my toefl right?
i got a 657 on the pbt

yeah, Toefl will cover it.

Isn't a 657 like a ridiculous toefl? nice job.

According to my limited knowledge, I think you have good chances.. Which country are you from?..

good chances, from my friends back in china who are applying as well, i know your SAT CR/WR are pretty high. i think you're in, though i dont know much about the admission standards for internationals.
