My Chances: Exeter

I'm applying to Exeter this fall for the 9th grade. I would really like to gauge my chances for getting into a school like that.

Academics:
-I get all A's and A+'s (except one marking period in 7th grade science where I got an A-)
-I qualified for the Johns Hopkins CTY program
-I think I could get some great letters of recommendation
-I am very academically driven and I love to read and write!
-I have started to write a novel in my spare time
-I have continuously been on high honor roll
-I skipped a grade in math (this year I will be taking math in the high school)

Extracurriculars:
-I currently take dance/ choreography classes, and when I was little (so I don't know if this counts for anything) I got to dance at Alvin Ailey
-I love photography and got one of my photos published in Popular Photography magazine
-I babysit
-I volunteer at a daycare center in a very poor area
-I participated in Middle School Model UN last year
-This year I am planning on participating on the Yearbook committee
-I have played guitar for about 6 years

Also, I am a legacy at Exceter (my father and aunt attended the school). How valuable is that in the application process? (Even if they didn't build a library in my name) ;)

I appreciate any help you are willing to offer. Thanks in advance.

And if you need any more information just let me know! :)

hey i think youre a really well rounded person! just a bit of what i saw from last year, my best friend and i both applied to exeter. she ended up getting in and is going there, they rejected me. but when comparing you too, she had the same incredible academic credentials and was part of our schools science olympiad team and our national junior honor society. she also played the violin and viola for a really long time! when she went to the student orientation thing in the spring, they told her that regardless of her well roundedness overall, they really really really REALLY liked her dedication and commitment to the violin. and that was what had gotten her acceptance there. idk if this reallly helps at all, but this is just one of the scenarios shows the characteristics of a successful applicant.

Thanks for the help, dukecrzy95!
