My chances for EECS Berkeley

I am trying to choose between EECS and L&S Computer Science at UC Berkeley. Ideally I would do EECS at Berkeley, but I am not sure I have a strong chance. Any advice on whether to apply EECS or L&S Computer Science will be great!

ACT: 33 (English=35, Math=33, Reading=34, Science = 31. Writing=10)
GPA (UW) = 3.92, GPA(W) = 4.6.
ECs: Dance, Music, Debate team, Club secretary, Lot of community service…). No National/International awards.
IB Diploma
California Resident.

Do I have a chance for Berkeley EECS or should I just apply L&S Computer Science?

I think you’re around what they want. Check past acceptance averages . I’m not sure about ACT but I think that’s GPA is around that average. Perhaps 30% chance ish? Write good essays! Be sure to also apply to LA and SD as back up since there’s no guarantee (I’m guessing you have)

good stats, but it’s still pretty darn hard to get in. They have a 5% acceptance rate for EECS
