My chances of getting into petroleum engineering at TAMU

<p>I am currently attending Tyler Junior College and have applied for TAMU petroleum engineering. I have a 3.74 gpa with 78 hours. I have all calcs(all A) ---all phys(all A)--- all chem(all A) ---2 govt(all A) ---2 hist(B and C)--- engl1(B)--- ( tech writing with A) speech class(A) and some other miscellaneous classes with A's. I work in the chem lab and math tutoring. Member of ASHRAE PTK and SPS.</p>

<p>How did you pull off a 3.74 GPA with those grades in HIST? Thats pretty impressive. Im also applying for this program so I might see you there. Are you a sophmore in comm. college? So you’re starting the engineering program in the fall of 2013? How was university physics at community college?</p>

<p>I plan on taking dif eq in the summer. I am taking it right now but it won’t transfer? Mechanics wasn’t bad electricity was a little on the harder side. But my teachers for both classes were great. Thanks callme I need assurance, I am in step three of the application process right now which is review. They said I should know in a few weeks.</p>
