No boasting please. Your GPA is not good, but everything else is top notch. You are obviously quite rich since as many of the bourgeois CCers, you go to India, Africa, and other impoverished areas to do "community service" and spend around $5000 in airfare and other luxuries while you are at it.

You also play the violin and music which is something for rich kids.

What was the point of this last post?
Since when do colleges ingest the financial information of applicants in their decision process?
Unless someone is a SUPER RICH MULTI MULTI MILLIONAIRE, money doesnt help/hurt in the admissions process itself.

I have to say, nice SAT score
you have a lot of community service extra currics, but try to win more awards, qualify for something big, etc.

I feel so dumb compared to the people on here!

First of all, comprehensive reading (is that the same as verbal?) if it's your strong suit, you might want to consider a college that has a highly rated program in that, and oh jeez do NOT say that your score sucked. That should be made illegal in all states.

And everyone got an 800 in writing... wow! That's a perfect score!

If you have a 4.2, that's amazing. I didn't even know you could GET that (isn't 4.0 the highest, unless it's honors/AP and getting STRAIGHT A'S in that?) so yeah, I really don't think you'll have much of a problem. And what a list of extracurricular activities... amazing!

Haha I hope you realized the person who said Community College- reach was obviously joking, especially since they aren't even competitive. =P

I have over a 4.0 weighted GPA but don't get straight As

They're still all reaches, don't think anyone would ever say those schools are matches for you. Those schools are never matches for anybody. You should really get started on your SAT II's. Your weighted score doesn't matter; the unweighted score does. The major thing wrong with your record is I don't see what your passions are. I see some leadership, a lot of commitment, but not really and passion. That's generally the major problem with any overachiever's paper record.
