My chances of transfer at Cornell and Yale

Hey guys,
First of all, I hope you are all doing great. I am currently a freshman (we call it first year) at The University of Virginia, Charlottesville. I am an international student here. I was looking to major in Commerce at The McIntire School of Commerce at UVa, supposedly one of the best business schools in the country. However, I feel more inclined academically towards economics. My issue is that a majority of Econ classes here at UVa are really big with almost zero focus on writing and very little liberal arts approach. Therefore, I am thinking of applying to transfer to Cornell or Yale.
I went to HS in India and topped my class of close to 160 people.
My college GPA at UVA was 3.9 and I took the full load (UVa allows a maximum of 17 credits).
Extracurriculars: I am on the Publicity Committee of a religion club
Volunteer for teaching immigrants English
Member of a prestigious debating society at UVa (I got formally inducted last semester after working the whole semester)

In High school, I was the editor in chief of the school online newsletter, camp leader for a 2 week trek, Vice President of the Student Council for 2 consecutive years, fundraiser for an NGO. I did an internship with a Spanish multinational for 2 weeks.

My SAT score was 2190.

What do you think my chances are? I think I am strong academically and I have solid reasons to transfer.
Please reply

I think you’d get in at Cornell. You need at least 12 credits to apply. It also depends if you write a good essay. I know that I will not stand a chance as much, but I have many extracurriculars and a job. I am also going to make my essay stand out (I had several writing professionals read my essay and they thought it was unique). So yeah I think you’re in.

Hey thanks lavender19. I hope you get in as well. Maybe if we both get lucky, we might see each other on campus.
